Moss Stays Where He Belongs, Deal Imminent

According to Tom Curran of NBC Sports, Randy Moss and the Patriots have agreed on a new deal that will keep the star wideout a Patriot for three more years.  The deal is reportedly worth up to $27 million.

So you're telling me that Randy Moss, fresh off a spectacular year in which he broke the most important WR record in the NFL, is only going to make a couple million more bucks per year than Bernard Berrian (who just signed a 6 year, $42 million deal)?  Wah wah wee wah, I'll take that any day.  Call me crazy, but retaining the best WR in the game for such a reasonable price is almost as good as the Pats sending a fourth rounder to the Oakland Raiders to get Moss in the first place.  Once again, the Patriots' front office has proven its superiority with this very prudent signing.  In Bill we trust...
