Pats Ink CB Jason Webster
The Boston Globe's Mike Reiss is reporting that the Patriots agreed to terms with veteran cornerback Jason Webster today and all I can really say is it's about time they made a move with the defense. Webster does little more than add depth to the defensive secondary (and will likely be a 4th or 5th CB on the depth chart), but that's really what the Pats need right now as they seem to be losing defensive starters (Asante Samuel, Randall Gay, Rosevelt Colvin...) left and right. Webster has spent his 7 year career with 3 teams and appeared in just 1 game for the Buffalo Bills last season. Terms of the deal were not yet available.
