Sports' Spitting Images - Ty Law & Larry Hughes

This one just couldn't wait.  It came to me while watching the C's game against the Bulls a couple nights ago.  Props to MannyOrtez for completing the first half of this latest SSI, as I was drawing a substantial blank while trying to figure out who the second dude looked like.

You better recognize the first guy because he was one of the most revered members of the New England Patriots secondary for a decade... any guesses?... got it yet?... alright, alright, it's CB Ty Law.  Starting in 1995, Law spent his first ten seasons terrorizing quarterbacks in a Patriots #24 jersey before skipping town for a year with the New York Jets and then hit a skid in his career with a couple years playing for the KC Chiefs.  In 13 NFL seasons, Law has 52 picks and 696 solo tackles.  Most recently, Ty voiced his desire to come back to the Pats while attending a Celtics game... could be a good move for the Pats as Ty would be perfect for nickel packages and could split time with another corner in 2 CB sets.  The second guy you're looking at is newly acquired Chicago Bulls SG Larry Hughes.  Hughes was one of the many players changing hands in a three-way blockbuster deadline deal that sent Ben Wallace, Joe Smith, Wally Szczerbiak and Delonte West to the reigning Eastern Conference champion Cleveland Cavaliers.  We shall know shortly whether the deal will pay off.
