Legal Case Against Moss Dropped

Some more good news involving Randy Moss has been sent our way, this time with his court case being dismissed. The case, in which Moss allegedly caused an injury to a woman (Rachelle Washington), was a civil domestic violence suit. It was first brought to light prior to the Super Bowl and caused some Pats fans to think Moss may miss the game, which obviously did not happen.

Busted Play reports that Rachelle Washington, 35, filed papers on March 3 with the Broward County Circuit Court clerk’s office requesting that the order be dissolved and the case closed. The restraining order had required the All-Pro wide receiver to stay at least 500 feet from her.

The dropping of the case is the second piece of good news about Moss this offseason with the first being his contract getting extended to 3 years and $27 million. Now, hopefully onto a good draft and a trouble-free remainder to this offseason for the Pats.
