Tiger Wins Tourney; Toys with Bart Bryant's Fragile Psyche

I love the reaction. Absolutely love it. If you're not fired up after that putt, I don't know what to tell you. I'm ready to run through a freaking brick wall. Win #64 of his career and he's as fired up as he's ever been after winning a major. Tied for career wins with Ben Hogan. Sam Snead and Jack Nicklaus next in his sights. You or I might be pretty pleased with ourselves after earning over $100 M in career winnings. Not Tiger. He won't stop until he's shattered every record. That, friends, is why he's the greatest. (Prepare yourself for my inevitable post on why he's the greatest athlete in the world. You've been forewarned.)

Seven strokes off the pace when third round play began on Saturday, Tiger played the weekend at -7 while the leaders fell back in stifling, windy conditions. And he didn't make a putt over 20-feet all week long until the 72nd hole to win by one stroke over poor Bart Bryant, who picked the wrong week to string together a few birdies.

Later, when his caddy Stevie Williams gave him his hat, Tiger said he didn't even know he had ripped it off his head and spiked it into the ground.

"When Stevie handed me my hat, I was like, 'How in the hell did he get my hat?"' Woods said. "Evidently, it came off. I don't know how it came off, but it came off. I need to see the highlights."

Here you go, Tiger. Be our guest.
