Bruins G Manny Fernandez Cleared to Practice
Rotoworld is reporting that netminder Manny Fernandez, whom the Bruins acquired via trade during the offseason, has been cleared to resume practicing after undergoing ACL surgery in mid-December. Considering the fact that the ligament was reportedly torn completely from the bone, Manny's quick recovery is astonishing. It hasn't been decided whether or not Fernandez will get back into game action this season and given the fact that the B's have two very capable goalies in Timmy Thomas and Alex Auld holding down the fort, there's absolutely no reason to rush Manny back.
