Celtics Coolly Complete Texas Triangle Sweep
For the first time since the 1986-87 season, your Boston Celtics have swept the Texas triangle, the fear-inducing back-to-back-to-back against three of the best of the West (Spurs, Rockets, Mavs). Ray Allen was back in the lineup for tonight's 94-90 victory and hit a huge 3 with 31 ticks remaining to clinch it for Team Green. The feat hadn't been accomplished since the Sacramento Kings did it in 2001. Other game notes include 2 double-doubles for the Celts (Pierce and Garnett), Rondo recording 0 points in 22 minutes, J-Kidd scoring just 2 in 35 and Dirk taking down 19 boards... too bad they didn't count for much, ya dirty German.
