Pats Sign CB Fernando Bryant

Several media sources, including ESPN and Rotoworld, are reporting that the Patriots have inked 30 year old CB Fernando Bryant to a one-year deal.  Rotoworld speculates he'll likely be no more than a nickel back next year for the Pats and that he might not even have a guaranteed roster spot, although he did start last year for the Lions.  In 16 games, Bryant had 69 tackles, 2 interceptions and 1 forced fumble.  Just speculating, but these last few CB signings (Bryant, Lewis Sanders and Jason Webster so far this offseason) probably make a deal with former Patriot Ty Law, which myself and many other fans have been rooting for, a bit less likely.
