Jon Lester Tosses No-Hitter

Last year, Jon Lester beat the Colorado Rockies in the deciding game of the 2007 World Series. Tonight, the cancer survivor tossed the first no-hitter since fellow Sox starter Clay Buchholz did it last September; the last time a Sox lefty accomplished the feat was 52 years ago. Also worth mentioning: it's the fourth no-no Red Sox captain Jason Varitek has caught in his career, prompting The Ignorant Bostonian to bust out the line, "How's that for pitch calling?"
