24-year-old sensation Jacoby Ellsbury swiped 3 more bags in Saturday night's 6-3 victory over the Orioles and upped his season total to 26. At his current pace, Ellsbury's season total projects to 72, which would put him well ahead of the current Red Sox record of 54 set by Tommy Harper back in 1973. Even with his playing time being somewhat limited (he's appeared in 51 out of a possible 58 games) due to the presence of Coco Crisp in the outfield situation, Jacoby's showing no signs of slowing down. Guess our buddy Rob Neyer was a little premature in writing him off as just a fine player some weeks ago.
