Jason's Homer, Jed's Double Lift Sox Past A's

Didn't take Bay long, eh?

In just his second game with the Red Sox since being traded from Pittsburgh, Jason Bay connected on his first ever American League home run (a 3-run shot, his 23rd of the season). In his third bases-loaded situation in the past 2 games, Jed Lowrie doubled to right to score Lowell, Bay and Drew. Batting out of the 2-hole for the seventh straight game, Kevin Youkilis hit his 19th and 20th homers of the season... oh yeah, and Jon Lester (7 IP, 2 ER, 5 K) was pretty good again, too.

Meanwhile, Manny's 4-for-8 with a homer and 2 RBI in Dodger blue. He's sporting No. 99 (apparently he doesn't know why they gave it to him, nor does he seem to care) and word is he's even running out ground balls and considering cutting his dreadlocked mane. What wonders never cease.
