As you no doubt already know, Melky Cabrera was recently demoted to Triple A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre. Some fans, however, just can't let go of the Melk-man and all that he brings to the Bronx Bombers (the importance of that .242 BA and .296 OBP just cannot be emphasized enough). Said fans, also, apparently enjoy rocking the rather feminine look of Uggs with shorts (apparently a derivation of the more recognizable Uggs-with-skirt look, popularized on liberal arts college campuses by hippie girls with access to their parents' credit cards). Aside from that, I really don't know what else to say about this photo. Warm enough for shorts and a t, but just cold enough to sport the Uggs? Sensitive toes need a little extra warmth, necessitating the use of winter boots during the summer months? You're not wearing socks with those bad boys, are ya?

Typical Yankees fan. Only in New York. Think you'd catch a dude from West Roxbury wearing a Tek shirt and crocs while buying smokes at Tedeschi's? Didn't think so...
