Jason Bay's third homer of the series (26th of the season) wasn't enough to help Buchholz pick up a win, let alone last longer than 3 innings. 'Triple A Clay' (make that 'Double A Clay') lasted just 2.1 innings and gave up 5 earned runs while walking 3 and striking out none. What's more is that Aardsma and Lopez pitched the next 1.2 and also gave up a combined 5 earned runs. These are the ones you're supposed to win easily, boys.

Meanwhile, the Angels did all they could to lose to the Rays and help them gain another game on the Sox, but thankfully, LA (of A) rebounded to take the one-run win. At least we didn't drop a game in the standings...
