Yet Another Reason to Dislike Dennis & Callahan

I'd have said "hate" in the title, but really, that's just too strong a word.
You already have to deal with their politically-driven right-wing "sports" commentary on your morning commutes, and now it appears the revered radio tag-team is attempting to spread propaganda and panic throughout the New England area related to the health of our football team's record-setting quarterback.
The venerable John Dennis reported on-air today that one of four sources who had seen the MRI performed on Tom Brady believes there is a cracked bone or stress fracture in his ailing foot. That report runs counter to much of what we've been told up to this point as he's expected to start Week 1 in spite of appearing as questionable on the injury report. According to Dennis, who apparently has dabbled enough in medicine to offer his professional opinion on the issue, he foresees a 4-6 week recovery time for Brady to truly get back to normal.
Of course, only a few hours later, Mike Reiss - you know, the Globe reporter who actually investigates stuff before going public with it and scaring the shit out of hundreds if not thousands of morning commuters, that Mike Reiss - comes out with a blog post that says Brady was seen doing agility drills and working on three-step drops in practice today. Pretty good for a guy who could go down with a "foot" and is likely to miss a month-plus. Strike 734052404 against D & C.
D & C, to whom I've actually enjoyed listening for years, have unfortunately reached the point where pushing the envelope with their opinions isn't enough; they've moved on to propagating unsubstantiated rumors as fact in order to get us to talk about them and their product more. Their likely defense that it's their job to get us all the information out there is a relevant one, but there's a big difference between presenting all the facts and slanting minute and obscure pieces of information to better serve the purposes (i.e. make money money, make money money mon-aaay!) of your show and your employer.
Something should be said for their tactics, however, as I've just devoted about 30 minutes of my life to writing a post on it and you just spent about 5 of yours reading it...
