Brady injury update, Gutierrez re-signed, Moss limited

Lots of Patriots updates today. Let's just go with the quick-hit, bullet style:
  • The Patriots signed recently-released Matt Gutierrez to the practice squad. He'll likely get the first shot to replace Cassel if he struggles or gets injured.
  • After news came out that Brady tore both his ACL and MCL, an update was released that his ACL reconstruction surgery won't take place for another 4 to 6 weeks. Doctors are waiting for the MCL to heal itself before undergoing ACL surgery. Rehab is expected to take 6 to 9 months.
  • Randy Moss was limited in practice (as was Jabar Gaffney) with what's being reported as a back injury while Benjamin Watson didn't participate at all. Moss, however, was well enough to assert his belief in the Patriots this season:
    • I think the New England Patriots have won this division over the last couple of years. So I think the New England Patriots are still the team to beat.
