The very definition of perfect timing

On the night the Sox win Game 6 of the ALCS and force a series-deciding seventh game, Yankees reliever... err, starter... err, pitcher Joba Chamberlain was caught speeding in his 2006 BMW 750i and was subsequently arrested and charged with driving under the influence.

So many angles you could take on this one, but what I'm most interested in is why Joba's rolling in a car that's almost three years old. Dude's making just south of $400k per year, and barring a career-ending injury, he's due to make tens of millions more. That puts him firmly in the Ferrari-Aston Martin-Lambo echelon, but he's cruising the mean streets of Lincoln, Nebraska in a dated Beemer. Time to step it up to where the big boys play, Joba.
