Turnovers doom Pats in 33-10 loss to Steelers

I really have nothing good to say about this game and I'd really prefer to not even think about it much longer, so instead of coming up with a nice post on it I'll just list all of the absolutely inexcusable things the Pats did that cost them the game today. I'm anticipating that this will be quite therapeutic, so please partake in a similar exercise if you found yourself on the verge of breaking numerous things stationed around wherever you were watching the game yesterday.
- Four turnovers by Matt Cassel alone (2 picks, 2 fumbles)... perhaps his importance and skill were somewhat overblown by most of us Pats fans after his second straight 400-yard game last week
- An excruciating special teams turnover by Matt "Don't call me A.C." Slater at the beginning of the third, which followed a Steelers field goal and led to a Steelers touchdown... oh yeah, and his 7-yard kick return average while filling in for a cramping Ellis Hobbs wasn't so great, either
- Stephen Gostkowski's missed 27-yarder with seconds remaining in the first half... unfortunately, I accurately predicted that that would be the turning point of the game... never been so upset to be correct about something in my life
- A painful night for the NASCAR Truck Series team owner highlighted (perhaps "lowlighted" would be a better term) by a pair of dropped touchdown passes and three straight incompletions leading up to Gostkowski's missed FG to close out the first half... seems like nearly half of Cassel's 20 misfires were thrown in Moss' direction, but let's not forget about Gaffney's ugly fourth quarter drop, either
- An all-time NFL single game worst 1-for-13 3rd-down efficiency (I'm not even close to sure that that's correct, and I'm sure there's a team in the past decade that's failed to convert on every single 3rd-down shot they took, but I'll comfortably predict that 1-13 is among the worst over the past few years)
- Poor coverage all game by Deltha O'Neal, who singlehandedly gave up both Pittsburgh passing touchdowns while in man-to-man coverage... when do you call it quits with this guy?
- A red zone efficiency of 1-for-4... my head starts to hurt just thinking of the missed opportunities
- 5 sacks given up by the offensive line slash run into by the scampering quarterback
- 30 unanswered points allowed to an offense that can only be described as terrible inconsistent at best
- And most egregious of all, not capitalizing on a Jets loss and remaining a game out in the East
