The Picks - Week 15
Packers -2.5 (Any quarterback more of an underachiever this year than Garrard?)
Colts -17 (I don't even know if Addai is playing, but against that vaunted defense, it doesn't matter.)
Redskins -6.5 (Portis is banged up, but he wants the rock and the Bengals suck.)
Falcons -3 (Ryan has to be the top pick for rookie of the year right now.)
Dolphins -6 (Gore's out, Niners have no chance.)
Rams +2.5 (Gut feeling on this one; easily gets the nod as the most crap-tastic matchup of the weekend.)
Jets -7.5 (After taking the league by storm in the first quarter of the season, arguably no one is playing worse ball than the Bills.)
Titans -3 (Heard of that Chris Johnson fella?)
Steelers -2.5 (Defensive showdown alone worth the price of admission.)
Panthers -7.5 (Broncos are on their 20th RB of the season at this point, and on the other sideline, Deangelo Williams is becoming a star.)
Chiefs +6 (Another gut feeling game; not impressed with LT this year, neither are his millions of fantasy owners.)
Cardinals -3 (Pass first is fine when you're facing a team with a stout run D like the Vikes.)
Patriots -6.5 (Really? The Pats are less-than-a-TD favorites? Yeah, their secondary is paper-thin, but JaMarcus Russell is the dude throwing the ball. This is a steal.)
Cowboys -3 (Jacobs and Barber both being gimpy heavily favors the 'Boys, who have more weapons at the skill positions.)
Eagles -14 (Depends on which Brian Westbrook comes to play. Another 3 TD, 200+ yard performance might be in the books.)
We haven't been around much lately, and we'd like to sincerely apologize for that. At least as sincerely as you can apologize to a bunch of people you've never met before and whose well-being you most likely would never put ahead of your own (no offense). Around and after the New Year, we'll be back with more soft-hitting, sometimes-useful banter to help fill your day and distract you at work, school or wherever else you need such distractions.
As such, I'll be back on later with some thoughts on the B's and C's, who apparently can do no wrong these days...
