Celts tie historic mark, B's improve to 24-5-4

Do these two teams even know how to lose anymore? It's almost not worth tuning in to watch because you know what's gonna happen already and that's no fun, but then you think back and remember how terrible these two franchises were for years and realize we're witnessing something pretty special.
Anyway, the C's tied both their franchise-best winning streak (18) and the best start in NBA history (26-2) with today's 124-105 win over the Knicks, marks they're likely to break as they face the 12-15 76ers on Tuesday. Rondo dropped a career-high 26 points (after establishing a career high of 25 just three games earlier) as he was just one of seven players in double digits. The bench racked up 39 points, and Big Baby got into an accident prior to the game. All in all, a lot of good was accomplished today.
As for the B's, they continued to ride the hot streaks of Ryder (goal, assist), Wheeler (two goals), Krejci (three assists) and Kessel (two assists) and cruised to a 6-3 victory over the Blues. All this without Bergeron, who was out after suffering a concussion in yesterday's game, and Sturm, who was placed on IR. Oh, and the aforementioned Kessel extended his point streak to 16 games. Not bad considering many experts saw this year as his last opportunity to cash in on all that potential he's shown since entering the league.
