The way I see it, there are only two possible explanations here:
First, some clown just felt like dicking around and threw up the mug of the most hated figure in America's pastime. Said clown clearly didn't look over their work before submitting the photo of Bonds and putting together the finished video frame.
Second and perhaps more likely, the aforementioned clown - probably some poor intern who will be filing for unemployment in the morning - was told to find a mug shot of "Papelbon" and mistakenly thought he/she heard the name "Bonds" instead. A forgivable offense if the offending party didn't have to, you know, put together a frame that would be viewed by hundreds of thousands of viewers.




I think it might be because people hate papelbon just as much as bonds.
