Sports' Spitting Images - David Ortiz & Ne-Yo
Courtesy of Manny Ortez:

You're looking at Red Sox slugger David Ortiz and rapper Ne-Yo. Ortiz aka Big Papi needs no introduction, but he's had one of the most dominant five-year stretches (from 2003 to 2007) in the history of the organization. He owns the club home run record with 54, and has four Silver Slugger awards and five All-Star appearances on his resume. Papi's also finished fifth, fourth (twice), third and second in MVP voting in the aforementioned years. As far as Ne-Yo goes, I have to admit, I didn't know who this guy was until Manny Ortez said his name to me. His real name is Shaffer Chimere Smith (yeah, Ne-Yo is an easier stage name) he's credited on Wikipedia as being a "pop and R&B songwriter... and occasional rapper." He's got a couple songs on JAM'N right now, and he bears a striking resemblance to the Sox DH.
