B's unstoppable, take season series against Habs

So the B's wrapped up season series against Habs yesterday, now leading 4-1 with one with one game to go. Not only that, but they're 2-1 north of the boarder in the unfriendly confines of the Bell Centre in Montreal. Unreal. Anyone that says they saw this level of success coming this year is lying their asses off.
While we're here, I want to take time out for a moment and show a little respect to one of the Canadiens, Mr. Carey Price. Sure, the guy gets way too much attention and all the "He's the next Patrick Roy" talk is way premature, but you gotta love it that the kid is bringing back the old school look with the natural leather pads. No offense to Timmy and all the other guys who rock protection that sports their team's colors, but Price is killing it with that look. He may not be able to beat the Bruins, but he looks pretty awesome giving up a pair of goals, you gotta give him that. I think it should be mandatory that all goalies wear similar pads. I don't care that they're approximately 8 times larger than the actual old pads, they still like damn cool.
Anyway, back to the game at hand - Has there ever been a more pussy move than Ryan O'Byrne's cheap shot to the dome on Chuck Kobasew with 5 ticks to go? (In case you couldn't tell from the direction I was headed with the wording of that question, the answer is, no, there hasn't.) Jack Edwards' post-cheap shot rant went a little overboard, but the main point of his message was solid - If you want to eliminate hits to the head and cut down on possible career-threatening injuries, that's the perfect place to start. If Sean Avery gets an indefinite suspension for using the phrase "sloppy seconds," these intent-to-injure hits should garner at least the same level of punishment. Period. End of story.
