Patriots give Joey Galloway a look

Attempting to fill the No.3 receiver slot vacated by recently-departed Jabar Gaffney, the Patriots hosted veteran wide receiver Joey Galloway yesterday.
I'm not gonna talk about how Galloway is still an incredibly effective wide receiver in spite of his age (37). I'm not gonna talk about his speed, or the fact that the Pats obviously love taking calculated chances on aging players at the skill positions. I''m not even gonna mention the 1,014 yards and 6 TDs in 2007, his last mostly healthy year. No, what I am going to talk about is the fact that Galloway owes me one. I took him as my second receiver in just my second-ever fantasy football draft in 2004, his first year on the Bucs, and wouldn't you know it, he shit the bed and racked up just 416 yards and 5 TDs on 33 receptions. So the way I see it, Joey needs to come here and produce to make up for past transgressions. If healthy, he's certainly capable of it.

i have to give the bills credit for trying. they're talking to a lot of players
