6 innings, 3 hits, 3 walks, 5 strikeouts... not bad for a guy who hadn't pitched in a major league game since June 19. Obviously it's way too early to proclaim Dice-K totally fine, but there was a lot to be encouraged about in this start. If he can come close to returning to 2008 form, the Sox just got a huge boost to their playoff rotation. Dice-K gets a soft Baltimore offense next time out, and the real test should come Sept. 25 at the Yanks.
