Despite Ron Ron's epic floppage, Celts prevail



The jokes almost write themselves at this point. Jerry West himself can't defend how blatantly these faking, flopping, cry-baby Los Angelians abuse the rules to draw fouls.

You really can't blame Artest though; he's racked up double-digit points in just a single game (15 in Game 1), and the rest of his point totals look more like they belong in the rebound stat line (6, 2, 9, and most recently, 7 in Game 5). We probably should have seen it coming, though. I mean Artest did give us this memorable sell job from a Jan. 31 loss, a loss he facilitated by flying three rows deep after Pierce brutally waved in his direction, barely grazing Artest yet somehow creating enough force to catapult a 260 lb. man some 30 feet:

    I just cannot support Ron Artest ever since he choked his coach. I do not respect him as a person. I feel the same about Tiger Woods and Big Ben. Let's hope Boston stays out of the sports star chair of shame.
