Wheeler's Arbitrator Stops Procrastinating; Awards Wheels 2.2 Million

It took a shit load longer than expected, but Blake Wheeler finally found out what he's worth today.  He's getting 2.2 mil this year, and then becomes a Restricted Free Agent again.  Deal.  I'll take 2.2 mil for a 23-year-old, 40-point guy any day.  It shows how good I am at guessing and mathematics seeing as how my guesses were 2.95M and 2.65M, but at least I got the 1-year deal part right!

The B's now have 48 hours to decide whether to take the deal and sign him, walk away from the table, or trade him to another team.  Hint: They will almost assuredly sign him.  Although, I do suck at guessing so who knows.

An interesting idea is going around the internet, though, that the Bruins might try to send Michael Ryder to the Baby B's to absolve themselves of his cap hit.  But Chiarelli really doesn't have to worry about the cap right now if he doesn't want to thanks to Marco Sturm's LTIR salary relief.

PC can now focus on signing the Great White Hope Tyler Seguin to an entry level deal (most likely going to be 3 years, 900,000 a year, base salary), sign Wheeler to his 1 year, 2.2 million dollar deal, and ask the rest of the league how his ass tastes because he has assembled a pretty ballin' team.
