UPDATE: Marc Savard Speaks; Sighs a Lot

Savy addressed the media today at around 10:30 AM.  It's about 6:30 PM now.  How's that for a speedy update?

But aside from sighing before like every answer, Savy basically said he doesn't think he's out for the season, but he's not close to coming back.  Nothing new.

Also, sweet stick in your right hand, Savy.  Something tells me you don't need that just yet.

Here's my guess as to what the Bruins lines will look like without Savard:

Lucic-Bergeron-Horton
Wheeler-Krejci-Ryder
Paille-Seguin-Recchi
Thornton-Campbell-Caron

Basically, Jordan Caron is, by far, the guy that has impressed the Bruins' brass the most so far in the preseason.  So I think he'd be the first guy called up.

The only other viable option I can see is if they want to keep Seguin on the wing.  In which case, I think they would call up Jumbo Joe Colborne, leaving the lineup as follows:

Lucic-Bergeron-Horton
Wheeler-Krejci-Ryder
Recchi-Campbell-Seguin
Thornton-Colborne-Paille

But we shall see what happens in the coming weeks.
