I Had No Clue Doc Rivers' Kid Was So Sick



Wait, what?  Are we sure that is Doc's kid?  He's a little...different looking.  Just kidding.

But I was watching ESPN today and saw that the No.1 overall college basketball recruit Austin Rivers has committed to Duke.  Back up.  Doc's kid is the best high school basketball player in the country?  Holy shit.

That's pretty sick for him and the Rivers family, but I'm a little disappointed.  I usually know stuff like this.  I'm usually the king at little facts about Boston sports teams.  Like I know that David Ortiz's middle name is Americó and Schilling's is Montague (fag).  I know that Randy Moss is from Rand, West Virginia and Tim Thomas went to UVM with Marty St. Louis.  Little things like that.

But I didn't even know Austin Rivers was even good until today.  Poor showing, self.

Either way, let's hope he doesn't play too well in college, the Celtics draft him, and then he becomes a star under the tutelage of one Doc Rivers.
