What Did I Tell You?!?!?! New Post, New Day!!!!

A day after the terrible football day that I'm now done talking about, fantastic, life-altering news came out of ESPN: Joe Morgan finally got fired.  And apparently, Jon Miller is gone too.

...now what?  It's like an evil curse has just been lifted off of the entire world (I guarantee people in Estonia and Ethiopia hate Joe Morgan too).

I honestly don't have much to say because I'm shocked.  But let's look back on some of the most stupid things to ever come out of a human being's mouth:

“Milledge may not take off, but with two strikes, he may take off.”

"A lot of star players get booed in opposing stadiums."

“You can't win in the postseason unless you can manufacture runs.”

"The one thing I like about Chone Figgins is he uses speed a lot"

“Say I think that curve ball is more effective against a hitter, guys that play every day, because they’re looking fastball and trying to make a pitch."

"I don't know if people realize... this is Koufax and Marichal.  These are two of the best pitchers of their era." - Talking about Sabathia and Beckett.

And even though Jon Miller is the better of the two and has a great voice for announcing, he still sucks.  No more will we be subjected to his three syllable names.

"Here comes Adrian Bel-tre."

"Carlos Bel-tran takes strike one."

So good riddance, Joe Morgan and Jon Miller, you guys were about as good at announcing as literally any baseball fan in the world without voice complications.

By the way, stop by firejoemorgan.com to pay your respects.  They're calling it quits as well.
