Stoned Hippy Danny Ainge Not Done Dealing

The last trade I've seen today has Marquis Daniels being traded to the Kings for cash.

This isn't a big deal, but it just sucks because I really liked Quis. But let's do the math: Marquis very well could be out for the year + the Celts couldn't get a roster exemption for him to create a roster spot = trade him for cash.

The Kings will probably buy him out though so he'll be back chilling making necklaces of his head with the boys in no time.

Also, Gary Washburn says that the Celts will get the Clippers' 2012 1st-round pick in the Perk deal, but it's top 10 protected, which is stupid. If you don't know, now you know: top 10 protected means that the Clippers will keep the pick next year if they finish with a top 10 pick.

So just to recap:

Celtics traded:

Kendrick Perkins, Nate Robinson, Semih Erden, Luke Harangody, and Marquis Daniels

For:

Jeff Green, Nenad Krstic, Cavaliers' 2011 2nd rounder, Clippers' 2012 1st rounder

So an entire starting 5 for two guys and two draft picks.

BREAKING NEWS: We have confirmed that Danny Ainge is indeed stoned out of his mind.
