HAHAHAHA Sweet Drawing, Delonte

HAHAHAHAHA.

Jessica Camerato at CSNNE.com wrote legitimately one of the funniest articles I've ever read in my life.

It's an article about Delonte West's artistic ability and she writes it like he's some renaissance artist creating masterpieces.

The dude draws as well as my almost 300-pound ass runs.  Not well...is were I'm going with that one.

And it wouldn't be funny unless Camerato painted such a serious picture (pun intended) about his abilities.

She says stuff like, "
But there is plenty for West to think about once the buzzer sounds. These aren’t things he tries to run away from — they are emotions he wants to address, ones that aren’t dealt with on the court.

So he picks up a pencil . . . and draws. As his feelings fill the page, the paper soaks up his emotions."

That's perfectly okay to say...as long as the dude you are talking about isn't drawing Santa Clauses that little kids would laugh at.

But wait, there's more.

Delonte said the root of his artistry began in English class where he liked to "doodle."

"Beth Dunbar handed an English assignment back with two grades on it. The first was for the classwork itself. The second, for the artwork which West had scrawled across the paper.

'She gave me a D for the actual assignment,' West recalled. 'Then she put an A next to one of my drawings and told me that she noticed my drawings were getting better and better.'”

So we're just gonna overlook the fact that Delonte sucked at school but was decent at doodling, which is being glorified in this article?

Solid teaching skills, Mrs. Dunbar.  "You clearly have no grasp on the material I'm teaching, and maybe shouldn't even move on to the next grade, but your drawing skills are getting better."

I think I speak for everyone around here when I say considering you're not even the best artist on your team (Tommy Heinsohn is actually a legit artist), focus on getting us out of an 0-2 hole, Delonte.
