REPORT: Bergy Has a Concussion

A bunch of places are reporting this morning that Patrice Bergeron has a concussion.

However, dude's like Kevin Paul Dupont and Joe Haggerty are tweeting that it is a minor concussion and could've been a lot worse.

Nothing is confirmed yet. PC is going to address the media at 11:30 AM so keep it locked because we'll have a confirmed update right away.

But if it is a minor concussion, Patreeps (new nickname) will be out at least a week, but probably longer.

When Krejci was annihilated by T.J. Oshie and had his mild concussion, he missed 14 days and 6 games.

However, thanks to a sweep of the Flyers, the B's will have at least a little time off.

If every series ends this weekend, the Bruins will start their series against the Lightning on Tuesday.

But if Nashville and Detroit can extend their series', the B's will get more time off.

So we're all Preds and Wings fans right now.

My guess is that, if it is a minor concussion, Patreeps could be back mid-to-late Eastern Conference Finals.

But obviously, nothing is confirmed and even if it was, only his brain knows how long he'll be out.
