REPORT: Sox Call Up Iglesias

Hot off the presses, the Sox will call up defensive dynamo SS Jose Iglesias.

The move came because Marco Scutaro injured something which I do not care enough to look up because I do not like Scutaro a lot.

But even with my slight dislike of Scutaro, I still think it's wayyyyyyyyy too early to call up the kid.  In 24 games with the Paw Sox, Iglesias is hitting .253 with 0 homers, 4 RBIs, 11 runs, and a .278 OPB.

So he could probably use some seasoning.

I want to see this dude kill it as much as the next guy, but not now.  I don't think it will benefit him at all.

And if you're not down with that, I got two words for ya: Craig Hansen.

But I don't see him being much more than a defensive replacement who gets a few at-bats here and there so it should be cool to see him play a bit.
