Best News I've Heard All Year: NESN Gives Jack Edwards an Extension
No joke, this is up there with the best news I've heard this year.
It'd probably go:
1) Me getting a job
2) Sox trade for AGon
3) Sox sign Crazy Carl
4) B's sweep the Flyers
5) Jack Edwards contract extension
6) Osama Bin Laden
It's so weird that a guy who is irrefutably good at his job is immensely hated by a vocal minority.
And I do think it's a minority because anybody that knows hockey and has heard other announcers can tell that, at the very least, Jack does a solid job.
I don't get how people can straight up hate him. Maybe it's because I think he's awesome. I don't know.
But that's the 6th best thing I've heard this year, Jack, so congrats. You made the Top 10.
By the way, here's a little New Jack Edwards for ya.
