Hahaha, I love how most websites are throwing that head line out there. Like it caught everybody off guard that Bill was making bank.
Report: Mark Zuckerberg is rich. Breaking news: Tom Brady is good. This just in: Coach Gordon Bombay can't master the triple deke.
It's like everyone is aware of it.
Sure some peeps probably didn't know that Belichick was definitely the higest-paid coach in the sports biz, but if you're surprised by this, you're either a 4-year-old with no concept of money, or you just have no concept of money.
Like what other coach has had a South Park episode centered around him? What other coach gets A's from "draft experts" all the time because they just assume he nailed it again?
Nobody.
Bottom line is you gotta spend money to make money, and you gotta pay the man with the master plan.
