Red Sox Will Call Bill Hall
At least I think they will.
But former Red Sox super utility man Bill Hall was just released by the Astros. Which must've awesome for Bill Hall because the Astros are awful. Houston as a city is just awful as well. So Bill Hall is probably psyched to be out of there and still get paid.
I always loved Bill Hall. He's a former 30 homer guy, who's a solid fielder, and can literally play every position besides catcher. And he throws 89 MPH.
So let's do the math:
No back up for Dusty at 2B + lack of a Bobby Brown lookalike on 2011 Red Sox = Sox sign Bill Hall.
He still has to clear waivers, but if he does I'm calling that he re-signs with the Sox.
