Bruins Are Rapping, Canucks Are Yapping
Got up at 6 am, took a packed train in to North Station, stood right in front of the Bobby Orr statue, and it was awesome.
If you saw a huge, beautiful man in a white button down with a Seguin shirt under it and also with a playoff beard that's been growing since the B's lost Game 2 against Montreal, you saw me. You're welcome.
But that was awesome. Seeing the Stanley Cup in person is a life experience that everyone should do. I teared up when I saw Chara holding it not 10 feet in front of me. I also teared up when I saw Recchi for some reason that I still do not know.
Probably because he's old as shit and I felt bad for his oldness. But the dude's going out a champion which is amazing.
But anyways, Brad Marchand grabbed the mic before the duck boats started rolling and started singing Black and Yellow by Wiz. He was clearly hammered and barely had a voice left and it was awesome.
Just for the record, Marchmand's rapping beat the absolute shit of Kris Versteeg's rap last year.
Yet on the other side of things, the Canucks still have their sad faces on. And I couldn't be happier.
I genuinely feel bad for Ryan Kesler and Manny Malholtra. That's it.
If I were in the Canucks locker room it would be like, "fuck you, fuck you, fuck you, you're cool Kesler and Malholtra, fuck you, I'm out."
And the reason I said Canucks are yapping is because apparently, Vancouver's GM Mike Gillis was bitching to the media about how many injuries the Canucks had during the Playoffs. Basically, he was making excuses.
What a surprise.
Oh well, Fuck 'em.
We're partying with the Cup and they're trying to rebuild their city. Fuckers.
