Ference's Nickname for Marchand is "Honey Badger"

In a recent interview, Andrew Ference explained why he refers to Brad Marchand as 'Honey Badger:'

"Everybody is calling him a weasel, but I call him a Honey Badger,” said Ference. “Have you seen it on YouTube? Go ahead and type in Honey Badger on YouTube and tell me what you think.”

Well played, Ference.

I've known about that video for awhile, but I'm glad to see it's getting some love in mainstream media because it's hilarious.

And it's even funnier that the Finger came up with this nickname.

I got to hand it to Ference. I used to hate him as much as I hate people who just text you the word "Hey" so you have to text back.

But this year has been his best in a Bruins uniform by far.

He was the one that really started the whole "hey, let's stick up for each other" thing.

Not to mention he was solid all year defensively and put up decent numbers in the playoffs.

Also not to mention he was the one that gave Quaider his Darth Quaider nickname AND found The Jacket online that was eventually wrapped around the Cup.

So congrats, Ference, I am now a fan.
