Bettman Has the Head Bob Down to a Science; Chara is an Awkward Mofo

Did you see that head bobbing? Amazing.

He was pointing and snapping his head around more than a sassy black woman at a nail salon.

More importantly, was Chara's hoisting of the Cup the most awkward of any captain ever?

First of all, he turns around and gives the double guns to his teammates with a crazed smile on his face. Then he tries to rip the Cup away from Bettman before the picture gets taken. Then he knocks his own hat off while lifting the Cup. And lastly, those yells were hilariously awkward in general.

And I'm pretty sure I heard a "Yay!" in there too.

Here's the transcript:

(Bettman hands Chara the Cup)

Chara: YAAAA!!!!!!

(Chara kinda almost drops the Cup, kisses it, and lets out a yell that sounds like Arnold Schwarzenegger)

Chara: YAAA!!!!!

Chara: Come on, boys!!! YAAA!!!!

(Chara proceeds to skate away from said boys with the Cup even though he just asked them to "come on")

Chara: YAYYY!!!! WOOOOO!!!! YES!!!! YES!!!!

(Chara hands Mark Recchi the Cup, tickles him, and then skates off)

It was awesome then, but it just looks more and more awkward now.

Still pretty awesome actually.

Gotta love those Bettman head bobs though.
