So apparently I'm told some local team won a big match and now they are champions.
Not only that, but the B's are in great shape going into this off season unlike the stupid idiot Blackhawks were last year.

That was a reference to Step Brothers. I wanna make bank...bro. Easily one of my favorite movies of all time. No joke.
But the B's seriously have a ton of money to spend.
With Marc savard most likely headed for Long Term Injured Reserve again, the Bruins will be $16,104,167 under the cap.
That's ridiculous.
First Order of Business
Re-sign Marshmont. When Marchand scored in the playoffs, the B's were 9-0 I believe. He is a huge part of the team and has great chemistry with Bergy.
I think he will get between 3-3.5 mil a year, but you never know because idiot GMs overpaying for players might drive up his price.
But since PC reads at a college level, I think he will sign Marchand one way or another.
Next Up
I don't think we should expect much to be honest. The roster really only has 2 openings: 2nd or 3rd line winger and 5th or 6th defenseman.
And the B's have guys like Jordan Caron and Steve Kampfer that appear ready to make the jump.
Add that to the fact that next year, Krejci, Quaider, and Tuukka will be RFAs and Peverley, Campbell, Boychuk, Kelly, Shawno, and Paille will all be UFAs.
So PC will have to keep some cash to re-sign like half the team.
Also, you have to figure Dougie Hamilton is a year or two away so why would PC sign a decent defenseman to a 5-year-deal or something.
So don't be surprised if the B's look like this next year:
