Projected 2011-2012 Boston Bruins Lineup

This is what I see the B's looking like next year.

A couple of notes:

1) Jordan Caron will most definitely be competing for the 3rd line left winger spot with Benoit Pouliot.  Don't think just because Pouliot is more established and thinks he's cool that the spot will automatically go to him.  It's going to be a battle.

2) Bartkowski will most likely not be the 7th defenseman, but since I'm not psychic and don't know who PC is thinking of bringing in as a depth guy, I'll go with Bartkowski for now.

3) Don't rule out Kampfer being the 7th defenseman and PC signing a better option to a short term deal.  PC has said he's still talking to Kaberle and a few other defenseman...hopefully it's Keith Yandle and Drew Doughty.

4) I projected Brad Marchand's salary hit to be 3.5 mil.  I think that's about what he will get.

5) Rich Peverley has the worst agent of all time.  He is only making 1.325 mil this year and is probably irate right now after seeing guys like Joel Ward get 3 mil a year after putting up 10 goals.  In all seriousness though, Peverley will get a huge raise after next year, especially if he stays on the 2nd line all year.

All in all, the Bruins will head into next season with an extremely solid team that possesses a ton of depth.  They will also have plenty of cap space at the trade deadline to make moves in order to bulk up for a playoff run.

So basically, it's good to be a B's fan right now.
