Is Kevin Youkilis the Biggest Little Bitch in the MLB?
Let me start off by saying I love Youk. He is an idol to anybody that loves the dirt dog story and is evidence that hard work pays off. He has a great attitude and seems like a funny ass dude.
But if the MLB had a Biggest Little Bitch Award it would be a Kevin Youkilis invitational.
If you don't know, now you know, you know. Youk left the game last night after being hit by a pitch in the shoulder. Actually, I wouldn't even consider it a hit by pitch because it grazed his shoulder and continued on to the back stop.
But it fucked over the Sox because Yamaico Navarro was the new clean up hitter and he struck out to end the game and the comeback. Now I'm not shitting on Navarro because he's better at swinging a piece of wood than I am at doing anything, but that's a huge drop off.
That's like a Rocky 1 to Rocky 5 drop off.
Rocky 6 side note - I thought Rocky 6 was a good movie. But that might have been the worst ending to a movie in the history of movies. Rocky just walks out of the ring before the decision? Like wtf, Rock? Get back in the ring so I know how this shit ends. It's bullshit.
Anyways, I wrote this shit because Youk is out of the lineup again tonight presumably because he's a little bitch.
And it's like, there's only so much of his antics Sox fans can put up with. I always say he acts like he's constantly being watched by a million people. Like his wincing faces, his pronounced warm up swings, it just gets old.
And that's not even taking into account how he literally dies every time he gets hit by a pitch, or fouls a ball off himself, or takes on physical contact.
It just gets old.
But numbers make everything better so hopefully he starts heating up.
