REPORT: B's Sign Quiader to 3-Year Extension
The Bruins announced today that they have signed Dman Adam McQuaid to a three-year extension worth 4.7 mil (1.57 mil cap hit). And I announced today that I have an extension program going on in my underwears.
Quaider is already signed through this upcoming year so the deal will keep him here through 2015.
As long as the world doesn't end in 2012, this is great news. McQuaid is only 24 and was a pretty big part of a Bruins team that won the Cup this year, I don't know if you heard.
Is he a superstar? No. But, just like my boy Rich Peverley, Quaider is the type of player you need to win.
He was a +30 in 67 games last year as a rook with 94 penalty minutes. Plus, he smiles when gets into altercations.
Want to know how crazy a guy is? If he smiles when he's about to fight someone, he's probably fucking insane.
