Red Sox Show Interest in Ubaldo and Beltran

While I'm not hungover anymore, I am watching the Bruins Championship DVD so I'll keep this short and sweet.
The Sox are reportedly showing heavy interest in Carlos Beltran. Beltran would be a perfect fit for the Sox. He's a switch hitter with power to all fields and has shown that he can bring it when the postseason arrives.
In 2004 with the Astros, he had arguably the best postseason ever. He was out of his mind hitting .436 with 8 bombs, 21 runs, 14 RBI, a .532 OBP, and 6 stolen bags. And, BTDubbs, that was in 12 fucking games. Total.
So I can see Theo going all out for Beltran considering JD Drew is playing as well as a fat little leaguer right now.
In other news, Pearl Jam is also going after Ubaldo Jimenez apparently.
I don't think this one will happen because it would take the remaining top prospects to acquire this dude. Probably like Kalish, Renaudo, Iglesias, etc. And I doubt Theo will want to deal guys like that considering Lester and Buchholz will be back at some point.
Plus the Yanks have a laughable rotation right now and could use Ubaldo a lot more than the Sox.
That is all.
