Pats Sign 5th Rounder TE Lee Smith
EEI is now reporting that the Pats have signed 5th round pick TE Lee Smith out of We are...MARSHALL!!!
Side note - I hate WEEI because they're assholes. They are d bags to callers and pathetically tried to talk Bruins during their playoff run after trashing them and their fans for years. Plus, The Sports Hub is just ten times better.
But Christopher Price is legit. He had information and analysis on every signing so far by the Pats before anyone. EEI sucks, but Price is solid.
Smith literally just got 171 G's added to his bank account for his signing bonus. Imagine being $171,480 dollars richer right now for doing nothing at your current job yet. Not a bad day.
But Smith will probably be the successor of the Alge Crumpler role as he is mostly a blocking TE with some skill, which has proved to be invaluable in the Pats' offense.
