MORE BREAKING NEWS: Pats Trade for Ochocinco Finally

I've never been so excited about something that was inevitable since my balls dropped.

The Pats finally traded for Chad Ochocinco.  It's about time.

We can finally put an end to the sexual tension over the years between Ocho and Bill.  Or maybe it's just starting.  I don't know.

But Adam Schefter is reporting that the Pats traded just two late-round picks for Chad.  One in 2012 and one in 2013.

So that makes a 5th rounder in 2012 and a 5th and 6th rounder in 2013 for Albert Haynesworth and Chad Ochocinco.  Deal.  I'll make that trade all day, everyday.

You literally can't even pull those trades in Madden.  Go ahead and try, I'll wait...Zero interest level from the Bengals and Redskins, right?  Because even Madden realizes that the Pats aren't giving up shit for a potential phenomenal reward.

Also, it's been reported that Ochocinco agreed to a 2-year extension through 2013.

Outside of the love fest, Ocho does fit a need for the Pats.  He can be the deep threat that Randy Moss was before he decided to trade himself and get all nostalgic for the rest of the year about the Pats last year.

The great thing about Chad is that he runs every route that you want him to; he'll go deep, he'll cut back, he'll go over the middle, whatever you need him to do.

So because I like thinking about it, let's take a quick look at the Pats' wide receivers:

Wes Welker
Deion Branch
Chad Ochocinco
Julain Edelman
Brandon Tate
Taylor Price
Matthew Slater
And some other guys that won't make the team

Not bad.

Also, don't be surprised if Ocho changes his name back to Chad Johnson and tweets a lot less.

Double also, the only way Aaron Hernandez keeps number 85 is if Chad doesn't want to ruffle any feathers because he's new.  But I doubt that will happen.
