BREAKING NEWS THAT NOT A LOT OF PEOPLE WILL CARE ABOUT: Sox Trade for Mike Aviles
Scoops McAdam does it again. What a surprise.
He just reported like 2 seconds ago that the Sox traded Yamiaco Navarro and minor league P Kendal Volz for Royals INF Mike Aviles.
Obviously not a huge move, but Mike Aviles is a decent player. I'd definitely prefer him over Navarro or effing Drew Sutton.
So he's a step up from those two dorks. I wouldn't start him over Scut right now though.
He has very good numbers against lefties, he steals bases, he hits for average, and he's good at not striking out.
And he has a funny-ass batting stance.
So that's good.
