More good news for Ryan Westmoreland.

He is scheduled to face live fucking pitching soon.

Let's just put that in perspective for a sec. He goes from possibly not making it through surgery to possibly not being able to walk again and definitely never playing baseball again and now he's about to face live pitching.

Good call, doc.

Like I've said before, Westmoreland will play for the Sox one day, it's just a matter of time. If the dude can walk and play baseball again when medical doctors told him he wouldn't, I think he can make it to the majors. No big deal.

And when he does, I guarantee it will be the largest ovation in Fenway Park history.
