"Go Patriots"
If you you have been living under a rock, or a pebble in Mike Reiss' case, then you probably have no clue what is going on with Albert Haynesworth.
Well, if you don't know, now you know, you know.
Albert Haynesworth plead "nolo contendre" to simple assault today, effectively ending his trial scheduled for tomorrow.
On a related side note, I can talk fancy Latin too. Albert Haynesworth should take this settlement cum grano salis (with a grain of salt) as this thing is far from over. He will still be monitored for 18 months and if he breaks any law whatsoever, he will be sentenced right away and will face up to 180 days in jail.
However, if Haynesworth keeps his head on straight, stays out of trouble, and just focuses on football, then all I have to say is caveat canis (beware of dog).
Three years of Latin in hike school and that's what I remember. Boom.
But this is great news for Albert and hopefully the Pats because, if he respects authoritah, he can put all this behind him and just play football. And maybe he needs that kind of structure. I guess we'll see.
Also, I love how he says "Go Patriots" before heading in to court. Well, I love it as much as one can love a witty comment before a court date for very serious allegations.
But well played, big sir.
