Wicked Late Breaking News: Sox Trade for Conor Jackson
Why am I still awake?
Maybe it's because crime never sleeps. Ever think of that?
On a serious note, I can not in all honestly answer that question. I don't know why I'm still awake.
But it is paying off right now.
Theo traded some dork RHP named Jason Rice for OF Conor Jackson at like 1 AM.
Conor Jackson was once thought of to have 20 - 20 potential before he started disappointing baseball fans all over the world, most likely including his parents.
But he's pretty good at hitting lefties so that's good.
Plus, it never hurts to have more depth. Especially when Kalish is having surgery, Darnell McDonald is have a tough year, and JD Drew is pretty much already retired.
On a related note, Conor Jackson was always a guy I thought Theo would trade for at some point. Him, David DeJesus, Reed Johnson, etc. Guys like that.
